Zameer was honoured as the recipient of ANOKHI's 3rd Annual Sexy & Successful Award for Most Promising Musical Artist, 2009 at ANOKHI Magazine's 6th Anniversary Awards Gala and Entertainment Show on Friday February 6th. Award recipients in attendance included "Slumdog Millionaire's" star Freida Pinto. The debut screening of his new music video for "With You" was accompanied by a live performance at the event.

Zameer will be performing live for the first time in Pakistan! Catch him at LUMS University on April 4th (Lahore), The Musik's Rock Summer Fest '09 on April 5th (Lahore), Aitchison College on April 10th (Lahore), and at the Shanaakht Festival on April 12th (Karachi).

The Canadian Paralympic Committee and 26 shopping centres managed by Bentall LP have launched Hands Up Canada, a partnership to bring together shopping centres, communities and schools to raise funds and support for Canada’s Paralympic Winter Athletes. Zameer has teamed up with Hands Up Canada - stay tuned for more information!

Zameer will be performing live during the Cloverdale Mall’s Fall Fashion Shows on September 18th at 1pm and September 19th, at 1pm and 3pm. Proceeds from the sales of his single will support the Hands Up Canada initiative. Click here for more information about Hands Up Canada.

Zameer will be performing at Inspiration 2010+Beyond, a fundraising event for the Canadian Paralympic Foundation. All revenues from the November 24th 2009 gala reception will directly support grassroots sport within this deserving but largely marginalized segment of young Canadians. Invited guests include Canada’s Governor-General, our Prime Minister, Ontario’s Lieutenant-Governor and Ontario’s Premier. Tickets start at $500 per person and can be purchased here.
