ZAMEER'S BIO: OFFICIAL

Zameer is ranked amongst the top 5 emerging Canadian artists by Billboard. He is best known for his debut single 'Win or Defeat' that was selected as a theme song by the 2010 Paralympics and performed at the 2010 Vancouver Games. He has toured Europe, Canada, South Asia, the Middle East, USA, and the Bahamas along-side Grammy winning John Mayer, and his debut album was produced by Grammy winning Steve Thompson.

Zameer writes and performs in four languages, with influences including Sting, AR Rahman, Dave Matthews, Rahat Fateh Ali, Eric Clapton, Noori and The Chilli Peppers. His latest single debuted on Canada's Hot 100 charts, and he is ranked amongst the top 10 live performers by the world's largest live band festival (Emergenza).

Zameer spent eight months studying the mathematical ingredients of some of this era's hit music. His research paper, titled 'Auditory Scene Analysis of 20th Century Popular Music' was published by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Western Ontario.
