Zameer

Are you a singer/songwriter looking to play your stuff in front of 10,000 screaming fans? Zameer is giving away a chance for you to do just that! That’s right…If you’re selected, then you and a friend will be picked up in Zameer’s limo, and driven to Zameer’s concert on May 29th where you’ll join him and his band on stage in front of an expected 10,000 fans! To be considered, send us a video of you singing your favorite song. The contest deadline is May 15, 2010, and full contest rules are below:

CONTEST RULES:

1 - Each contestant must make a video of themselves singing/performing their favourite song

a - the video must be a minimum of 1 minute in length, and a maximum of 2 minutes in length.

b - the contestant must sing in the video. this can be accompanied by a musical instrument, but does not need to be. please do not sing to a pre-recorded track. we want to hear your beautiful voice live, and in all its glory.

c - the video can be uploaded to youtube with the link emailed to singwithzameer@zameermusic.com, or

d - the video can be emailed as an attachment (max 8mb) to singwithzameer@zameermusic.com, or

e - the video can be uploaded with a download link emailed to singwithzameer@zameermusic.com

f - please include your name, phone number and complete contact information in the email.

2 - All applicants MUST be available for 1 rehearsal to take place on Sunday May 23, 2010 between 12pm and 8pm. The rehearsal location will be in the GTA, and transport to and from the rehearsal studio will be arranged for residents of the GTA.Transportation to the rehearsal and concert will not be provided for those located outside the GTA.

3 - The submission deadline for the video is Saturday May 15, 2010, 11:59:59 pm EST

4 - Three finalists will be selected by a panel of judges, including Zameer. The finalists and their videos will be announced and posted on www.zameermusic.com on or before May 16, 2010. All contestants will be notified by email by May 16, 2010.

5 - The 3 finalists will be judged online by Zameer's fans on www.zameermusic.com and each fan will have the opportunity to vote. The winning entry will be the video that receives the most votes of the 3 finalists. Voting will take place between May 16, 2010 and May 21, 2010. Voting will close on May 21, 2010, 11:59:59pm EST. The winner will be announced on May 22, 2010.

6 - This contest is open to individuals worldwide, however accommodation and transportation to the rehearsal and concert will not be provided for those located outside the GTA.

7 - The winning contestant will perform with Zameer at his concert at Dundas Square on May 29th, 2010.

8 - The winning contestant and one guest will be picked up in Zameer's limo from their place of residence within the GTA and taken to the concert in style. You and your friend will also have an exclusive invitation to join Zameer and the band for dinner & drinks after the concert.
